The Atlas Moth, native to Asia's forests, can be found in various habitats across South, East, and Southeast Asia, including Borneo. The female moth is larger than the male, with a broader antennae. Both sexes have small bodies compared to their large wings, which feature a striking red-brown pattern on top and a paler underside. The forewings also have a distinctive extension at the tip.
